The Washington DC Chapter
- Since its founding in 1896, the French-American Chamber of Commerce has become the most important private organization for promoting trade and investment between France and the U.S
- Our goal is to support strong economic relations between the two countries, and to facilitate business development opportunities for our members in the greater Washington, DC region.
- As a private, not-for-profit, commercial service organization (501 (c)6), the French-American Chamber of Commerce is funded solely through membership dues, sponsorships, and proceeds from events and services.
- Created in 1986, the FACC — WASHINGTON, DC membership consists of about 200 organizations. Our members are businesses, organizations and individuals with a stake in French-American trade policy, economic relations and market developments. The Chapter serves the Mid-Atlantic region, which covers an area from Richmond, Virginia to Baltimore, Maryland.
- Partners of the FACC — WASHINGTON, DC include specialized trade organizations, European bi-national trade councils and chambers of commerce, the French government and Washington DC regional agencies as well as the international UCCIFE network. These connections increase the value of your involvement with the French-American Chamber of Commerce and enhance the impact of your membership.
- Our objectives are designed to support our members in furthering their bilateral trade and investment agendas.
- Information: to provide pertinent economic and business information to our member companies and organizations.
- Cooperation: to cooperate with governmental agencies, nongovernmental organizations and trade associations that pursue similar goals in the interest of our members.
- Networking: to facilitate interaction among our members, and between our members and key players, to foster fruitful business relationships.
- Resources: To provide access to a pool of multicultural, talented individuals. The Chamber invites members to high-level briefings by vetted speakers and panelists, and provides carefully-sourced content on significant business issues.
National FACC
The FACC is a network of chapters in 19 major U.S. cities, including Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, DC. representing major economic sectors including: aerospace, automobile, education, finance, media, retail, tourism and more.
