The FACC (New York Chapter) processes J-1 visas for skilled interns and trainees as well as French Volunteers for International Experience (VIEs — overseas corporate missions for eligible European citizens), aged 18–35 depending upon the program.
Our U.S.-based sponsored training program has benefited more than 6,000 young French men and women since 1983, building a lasting bridge between French and American professional cultures.
- Internships and traineeships are the ideal mechanism for American and French companies to make their workplaces more diverse and international in scope.
Program types
J-1 Intern
For current students or recent graduates (within 12 months) pursuing a structured internship directly related to their field of study.
VIE program
Overseas corporate missions (Volontariat International en Entreprise) for eligible European citizens aged 18–28, designed for structured international business exposure.
J-1 Trainee
For skilled professionals with a degree and at least one year of relevant experience, or five years of work experience in their field, seeking career development in the U.S.
